News: There’s a lot going on so pardon me if I have trouble recalling if Robert Saleh was fired this week or last week. The NFL operates seven days a week so there’s a lot of bleed between weeks anyway. Apparently Kareem Hunt is not dead yet nor are a few teams like the Bengals and Falcons that appeared in trouble. We saw a few strong scores in Clan McDonald this week, powered by an unusually high number of forty-burgers…
News: The injury train just keeps rolling along. No sooner does Rashee Rice start to look capable of filling the WR1 shoes in KC than he finds himself carted off the field. They aren’t calling it season ending. Maybe the swelling is preventing them from fully assessing it or maybe it’s more like the Achilles tendonitis CMC now magically has in both ankles. In Clan McDonald, scoring remained “moderate” shall we say? Our stragglers steered clear of the fifties and…

Every week in the NFL has it’s share of injuries and from a fantasy standpoint it’s hard to decide what is newsworthy and what isn’t. When your 9th round RB suffers a concussion, it’s noteworthy to the team but not necessarily life and death for the fantasy manager. What stood out for me was the continuation of the Andy Dalton story. This…
News: Through two weeks of football I feel like we’re in one of those NASCAR races where there’s a crash at the starting line and a quarter of the cars are involved and it takes awhile to figure out who is driving away from the pile and who is being towed away. We’ve had an ugly start but we’re underway I guess and standings wise, we have three teams with unblemished records thus far, a couple teams clearly scuffling a…
News: Week 1 of 2024 seemed like a medley of many previous season openers. It had all the drama of the Lev Bell holdout season with Lamb and Aiyuk getting their big bags of money and Chase not getting his. We had the intrigue of numerous fantasy starters not even waiting until the games started to be injured. We had rookie phenoms fizzle and a few old guys on new teams sizzle. Round 1 of the Puka or Kupp debate…
